Job Description
- Forecast cash flow positions, related borrowing needs, and funds available for investment;
- Ensure that sufficient funds are available to meet ongoing operational and capital investment requirements;
- Use hedging to mitigate financial risks related to the interest rates on the company's borrowings, as well as on its foreign exchange positions;
- Maintain banking relationships;
- Assist CEO in arrange for equity and debt financing;
- Move funds onto its lending platform and develop accurate tracking systems;
- Monitor the activities of third parties handling outsourced treasury functions on behalf of the company;
- Advise management on the liquidity aspects of its short- and long-range planning;
- Maintain a system of policies and procedures that impose an adequate level of control over treasury activities;
Minimum Qualifications
- 1-3 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, or corporate finance;
- 1-3 years of experience in a finance or operations role at a start-up or transaction role at an investment fund or family office;
- Strong analytical, financial modelling, and problem-solving skills;
- Ability to navigate different levels to apply strategic big-picture thinking at management meetings and execute with impeccable attention to detail;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a team player with a hands-on approach;
- Adaptable to new and fast-changing environments;
- Driven to transform economies through sustainable high-impact capital provision;
- Motivated by learning in a high-growth environment;
