Quality Control (QC) Laboratory Analyst  

JOB SUMMARY:

Directly responsible to the QC/R&D Supervisor. Responsible for all activities involve in:

• Supervising quality status of all Unilox Industrial Corporation (UIC) raw materials, in-process and finished products.

• Ensure that raw materials, in-process and finished products conforms to company’s standard specification at all times.

• Assist in conducting product/process research and development activities.

DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Supervise, inspect and test quality materials, in-process and finished products using test equipment such as rheometer, roll mill, hot press and others.

• Ensure that all QA approved finished products meet company’s product standards.

• Advise Production Engineer regarding results of analysis of in-process materials.

• Advise Production Engineer to put on-hold any detected non-conforming products/materials for disposition.

• Report to immediate superior any detection of non-conforming products/materials for disposition.

• Issuance of labels complete with the requirements to signify QA/approval of the finished goods.

• Ensure lab reagents and other supplies available at all times.

• Perform accurate documentation of data in QC log sheets and other laboratory quality forms obtained during the analysis.

• Ensure that all laboratory forms are properly filled up and updated.

• Perform daily housekeeping in area of responsibility. Observe and maintain cleanliness of workplace, laboratory equipment, glass wares in accordance with general laboratory/safety practices.

• Report in shifting schedule and render overtime whenever necessary and perform other miscellaneous task required by the immediate superior.

• Follow the correct operating parameters of every equipment and the standard processing procedure of the product.

• Efficiently operate all laboratory equipment.

• Assist in R&D activities.

• Bachelor of Science in Chemistry. Must be a licensed, or graduate of Chemistry allied Courses & must be a registered Chemical Technician.
• Preferably have experience in the field of Animal Feeds or Fertilizer.
• Chemical Analysis, Product Application or Research & Development.
• Ability to organize and prioritize work for timely completion.
• Excellent verbal or written communication skills.
• Able to easily understand complex instructions and able to handle confidential records or informations.
• Strong analytical skills.
