Purpose
- The Corporate Development Associate will assist the Corporate Development Head in regularly assessing the state of the company’s assets and their various applications to ensure optimal deployment and maximum return.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Research specified areas of interest, from operations components to asset type.
- Analyze the utilization of specified assets; identify and measure cost components and outputs.
- Identify plausible applications of various assets and propose best use cases.
- Complete due diligence of various operations component, preparing thorough mapping of processes with an understanding of the ‘why’ in relation to each step.
- Complete due diligence on potential M&A targets, both at a financial and operations level.
- Participate in corporate restructuring activities.
- Collaborate with various business lines to optimize sales strategies.
- Develop and maintain portfolio performance trackers.
Minimum Qualifications
Educational Background
- Graduate of Accountancy, Economics, or Business Management is preferred.
Competency
- Has strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Analytical thinker with strong conceptual and problem-solving skills
- Meticulous attention to detail with the ability to multi-task
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent documentation skills
