General Accountability
The Accounting Officer assists the Finance Manager in the bookkeeping function for the Residence and ensures the complete and accurate recording of all daily revenue transactions.
Job responsibilities:
- Maintains complete and accurate books of accounts in the Residence.
- Performs month-end and year-end closing of the Residence books of accounts on a timely basis.
- Prepares bank reconciliation, analysis of balance sheet accounts, and status of barter agreements.
- Performs monthly reconciliation of general ledger and subsidiary ledger accounts.
- Ensures proper night audit process and timely printing of relevant reports.
Minimum Qualifications
- Accounting graduate.
- 1- 2 years of relevant experience in General Accounting.
- Preferably a CPA but is not a requirement.
- Strong data analysis skills.
- Keen attention to details.
- Results driven, customer service oriented, and flexible.
