Job Description

  • Establishes effective sales and account management practices and systems.
    • Develop strong working relationships with accounts/business partners.
      • Regularly communicate and coordinate with accounts on overall sales and account matters
      • Supervise account managers in business review planning and oversee actual business review meetings with accounts
      • Participate in monthly retail visits with account manager/s and account representative/s whenever possible
    • Drives flawless execution of sales processes.
      • Sell-through system
      • Oversee collection and monitoring of sell-through information.
      • Spearhead analysis of sell-through/sales data weekly, monthly, and quarterly.
      • Provide highlights and feedback on sell-through and sales reports to MDs, Finance, Marketing, and HRAD heads monthly and quarterly.
  • Forecasts Accuracy
    • Drive 95-100% accuracy of budget forecasts through effective management of the sales team.
    • Consolidate fiscal year budgets of each account and align with TSA/TRC business goals.
    • Oversee entire sales budget forecasting process.
    • Spearhead business target/goal-setting for each account in close coordination with account managers.
    • Order Management
      • Oversee account managers’ activities pertaining to product tiering, selection, and assortment based on relevant data and/or information.
      • Ensure proper and effective ordering process through close supervision of account managers.
      • Coordinate closely with Merchandising (Sales Planning) to ensure timely submission and encoding of account orders.
      • Guide account managers in order-tracking and alignment with overall business goals.
  • Establishes and ensures implementation of relevant sales policies and systems.
  • Builds strong business discipline and initiatives.
    • Drive and execute marketplace management leadership
      • Organize and participate in monthly and quarterly retail visits focusing on:
      • Door/store profile (account): location, consumer type/behavior, product offering
      • Selling environment (account): SA attitude/behavior, relevant marketing initiatives, proper visual merchandising, product availability
      • Competition: competing brands, competitor products, competitor offerings (initiatives), etc.
      • Consumer trends: consumer likes/dislikes, consumer requests
    • Analyzes and report findings based on retail visits to the MDs, department heads, and accounts/business partners.
    • Oversees account managers in ensuring “right product-right door” strategy based on pertinent sales data and retail visit findings.
    • Establishes financial discipline among accounts/business partners
      • Provide close supervision to account managers in ensuring “zero cancellations” of account orders.
      • Oversee account managers’ efforts at assisting Finance and driving timely account payments.
  • Establishes and develops a quality, stable, and productive sales team
    • Closely supervise members of the sales team by regularly monitoring performance and responsibilities, and providing timely feedback that aids in the team members’ development.
    • Elevate skills of sales team members through relevant training, exposure, and mentoring.
    • Regularly monitor own accountabilities and responsibilities as described in his/her individual performance management profile.
    • Actively participate in sales and business development-related activities and efforts as defined by the Sales & Business Development Head
    • Engage in activities and/or programs that enhance his/her professional skills, knowledge, and experience.
  • Manages effective interpersonal and inter-department relations within TSA/TRC.
    • Liaise and coordinate regularly and effectively, with other departments
    • Align objectives and sales efforts with the other departments vis-à-vis their own initiatives, programs, and systems.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 4 year Graduate of Business Studies/Administration/Management, Marketing or equivalent.
  • Has more than 5 years in experience in retail sales and operations.
  • Strong negotiation skills, strong interpersonal skills, salesmanship.
