Job Description
- Work with or under the guidance of the following:
- Product Owner and the Product Manager.
- Collaborate with the Product, Design, and Engineering Teams in delivering products that are recognized as among the best in the industry.
- Product Specialists and the Business Analysts on the ideation, specification, testing and launch processes.
- Engineering Team to identify, investigate, and prioritize issues with the products both in Production and Development phases.
- Product Owner and the Product Manager.
- Lead the QA process and manage testing in all facets of development including functional, user experience and user interface.
- Ensure the project specs are sufficiently understood by the Engineering Team.
- Lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and provide sign-off on test cases.
- Create Test plans, test cases and test scripts to approve solutions.
- In conjunction with the Product Manager, assist in reviewing the refining the QA processes and best practices.
- Carry out training and mentoring of other QA team members.
Minimum Qualifications
- BA or BS degree in any of the following:
- Computer Engineering
- Information Systems or Design
- Graphic
- Interaction
- Visual Communications
- Product, etc.
- Minimum 1-4 years of online quality assurance experience.
- Experience in using Agile Methodology principles in software development.
- Experience of using the following:
- JIRA or similar bug tracking software.
- Selenium test automation would be seen as a major advantage.
- Well-versed in current Web standards, including best practices for usability and accessibility.
- Strong knowledge and experience in software testing methodology, test development, and test execution involving multiple types of testing such as:
- Functional
- System
- Integration
- Regression
- Performance
- Thorough knowledge of cross device, cross OS, and cross browser testing is essential.
- Thorough understanding of the project specifications.
- Basic skills in the following:
- HTML5
- CSS3
- JavaScript
- Chinese communication skills are not essential but would be seen as major advantage.
- Ability to provide counter-proposals for improved business solutions is a plus.
