Back End Web Developer | Laravel | AngularJS | Firebase  

You will be part of a dynamic collaborate team, creating new features and maintaining existing ones for our Laravel and WordPress web apps. We are in the process of growing our in-house team of developers for the Swoop web and mobile app.

We are cultivating a passionate team who will grow with us long term. That being said:

• Starting salary of P30k. Will increase as we progress.
• Work full time Monday through Friday starting at 10am at Makati office
• Willing to commit for a two year contract
• Don’t apply for part time or request a salary over P30k.

Responsibilities

• Provide system design and functionality documentation.
• Perform high coding standards.
• Collaborate with other developers and co-workers.
• Work in a fast-paced environment.
• Liaise with Developers, Designers, and System Administrators to identify new features.
• Follow emerging technologies.

• Strong PHP background (2+ years experience in PHP5 with PHP7.1 knowledge).
• Knowledge of best engineering practices around building high performance, reliable, and scalable web services.
• Experience with MVC frameworks (Laravel).
• Experience in Firebase (NoSQL) and MySQL (MariaDB).
• Knowledgeable of the following are pluses:
  • JIRA
  • Git
  • Python
  • Java
  • Ruby
• Excellent communication skills.
• Very strong work ethic and attention to detail.
• Ability to meet or exceed project deadlines.
• Can handle multiple projects simultaneously.
