Job Description
- Manage the asset management processes, ensuring the processes are thorough and updated in a timely manner.
- Maintains the asset management database containing all the information necessary for the lifecycle of an IT asset.
- Maintains documentation relating to the asset management process and procedures
- Conduct internal software audits to identify variances between deployed and licensed software; ensure deployed software aligns with the quantity and licensing models purchased; rectify variances between deployed and licensed software
- Demonstrated ability to work in an organized and effective manner, with independence, where attention to detail is important and multiple simultaneous assignments are common.
- Works with Compliance to identify compliance related assets, mark them in the asset database and report as needed.
- Creates Purchase and Payment Request for all IT billings and request.
- Conduct other ad hoc tasks and duties
Minimum Qualifications
- University or College Diploma in Computer studies or equivalent
- Three to five years of relevant Information Technology experience in a medium to large system installation
- Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills (including presentation skills)
- Process and results oriented
- Proven vendor relationship skills and experience
- Demonstrated ability to work well in a team environment
- Ability to work under pressure and determine priorities to meet deadlines
- Pro-active and aggressive; self-starter, able to work using own initiative with minimal supervision managing numerous concurrent tasks
