Job Description
- Performs initial case assessments and investigating claims
- Creates pleadings, including complaints and affidavits
- Attends hearings, trials, and depositions in order to take notes, handle exhibits, and provide updates of monitored cases
- Files and distributes all pertinent court documents
- Reviews and monitors all new and revised laws and regulations
- Coordinates with internal and external counsel for legal requirements, securing of witnesses and pieces of evidence
- Prepares a calendar of hearing dates and filing deadlines
Minimum Qualifications
- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree, Law, or equivalent
- At least three (3) years of working experience in the related field is required for this position
- Preferably Supervisor-leve/five (5) years and up experienced employees specializing in Law/Legal Services or equivalent
- Good communication skills, oral and written
- Proficient in documentation and research
- Keen attention to detail
