Job Description

The Digital Marketing Officer will be in charge of growing the online channel for supermarket retail sales and marketing efforts geared towards reseller customers and end-consumers. He/she will be the key online representative for the company in all its interaction with its customers. The role will include the development and roll out of the company's online strategy and digital assets along with the seamless integration of online and offline sales and marketing campaigns. The candidate must have technical knowledge of digital marketing tools like Facebook, apps and websites. He/she must be creative, innovative, driven to learn, self motivated and self-starting, service-oriented, possess good communication and design skills, and possess good discipline and work ethic to see projects to completion.

Job Targets:

  • Be in charge of conceptualization, development and execution of the over-all digital strategy for the company
  • Design, establish and grow digital assets of the company such as the Facebook Page and website by implementing initiatives to increase customer awareness and engagement
  • Serve as the main digital and PR spokesperson to represent the company to address customer feedback and maintain regular engagement
  • Develop and execute online campaigns, online-to-offline initiatives together with the Sales and Marketing teams to generate sales and grow customer base for the company
  • Identifies and reports online community trends to internal teams and advise on potential opportunities and risks and design response efforts around them
  • Measures and reports key performance metrics of all digital initiatives to social CRM objectives such as recruitment, retention and engagement goals
  • Collaborate with potential vendor partners and agencies for building new online tools and capabilities
