Job Description

Position Objective/Summary: (Brief description of why the position exists or the overall purpose of the job.)

  • Drives the RCP/AX/NG implementations in the Amera Region, develops processes and standards around the manufacturing and ERP projects.
  • Plans, directs, monitors and coordinates activities of designated project to ensure that goals or objectives of project are accomplished within prescribed time frame and budget parameters;
  • Oversee the completion of project tasks, monitor adherence to defined project management standards, monitor work efforts, assign resources, delegate tasks and report progress to various stakeholders, in the absence or under the direction of a Project Director.
  • Coordinates with different teams to deliver to business confirmation of proposal covering time frame, funding and staffing requirements, procedures for accomplishing project;
  • Create, develop and monitor completion and delivery of documents of all project related assignments - business requirements, business flow process, functional specification, issues and risks, status reports and related project presentations.
  • Responsible in handling issues on prioritization, commitments, and deliverables to clients.
  • Improve project administration processes by identifying inefficiencies and recommending solutions.
  • Provides valuable inputs on improving processes arising from system related changes.

  • Project Management
    • Provides suggestions and recommendations to counterpart management on options to handle the project in accordance with project limitations, requirements and potential risks;
    • Develops PM processes and manage the design, development or enhancements required to the existing standard applications and implementation of RCP/NG/AX to the different business units in Philippines;
    • Facilitates discovery meetings among different units including the business, IT and the RCP/NG/AX counterparts if needed be;
    • Develops Project Charter and other Project Management related documents. Ensures that the project documents are delivered and accepted by Business Sponsor.
    • Oversee the completion of project tasks and monitor adherence to defined project management standards, under the direction of a Project Director.
    • Establishes and maintains appropriate and timely written communications with all project stakeholders through effective use of project information reports, team meeting notes, etc.
    • Identifies projects risks and acknowledges when certain strategies are not effective and implements change of plans. Communicate with the project team the issues that are related to all aspects of the project that may affect schedules.
    • Creates and implements project plan and execution and discuss this with the Technical Team Lead / Business Sponsor.
    • Carries out constant project evaluation and adjustment within a specific period of time to ensure that both internal and external factors do not suffer.
    • Keep abreast on information on current PM Methodologies, Tools & Techniques, Regulations and Market Demands.
    • Enforce quality procedures and guidelines across the Software Development Life Cycle. Contributes to the continuous improvement of the QA procedures and guidelines. Reviews test results and makes recommendations.
    • Oversees, mentors and provides valuable input to the members of the project team on the standard practices.
  • Business Analysis
    • Elicit the business requirements, understand the needs of multiple stakeholders. Identify the current and future state of the business process, enumerates gaps and help the business stakeholders envision the future and how their work will need to change to support the future.
    • Provides recommendations on options in business flow that will add value to the business.
    • Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, break down high-level information into details, abstract up low-level information to a general understanding, and classify user requests between must have and not.
    • Deliver the following documents as needed Functional Requirements and Use Cases by proactively communicating and collaborating with customers to analyze information needs and business requirements.
    • Facilitating design sessions with the implementation team to define the solution.
    • Delivering elements of systems design, including data migration rules, business rules, wireframes, or other detailed deliverables.
  • Customer Service
    • Satisfy project stakeholders by providing effective communication through meetings, presentations and status report.
    • Exhibits confidence in understanding the business concerns and provides sound business suggestions and recommendations accordingly.
    • Drive and promote the importance of the project management throughout the organization.
  • Administrative
    • Prepares and submits of needed reports and execution of the communication plans in a timely manner;
    • Monitor the financials of the projects;
    • Monitors over-all performance of the project(s) handled and provides inputs on the performance of the resources assigned.
  • Teamwork
    • Closely coordinates with other team members of the project including the executive leadership team, business, IT and project team;
    • Facilitates effective team interaction adhering to the values of the company and meeting the objectives;
    • Ability to flexibly adjust to help other team members to ensure continuity of providing service.
  • Learning and Development
    • Expand knowledge on business process and IT related information;
    • Stay abreast of current Project management process and methodologies, system information, problems, changes and updates relevant to the team.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Education
    • Bachelor’s or College degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology and/or related field.
  • Experience
    • Has four (4) to five (5) years of experience in project management and has developed and implemented projects in various industries including manufacturing and distribution.
    • Has at least two (2) years of experience in managing project team.
    • Has at least four (4) years of experience with Software Development Life Cycle
    • Has at least five (5) years of experience in implementing ERP systems
    • Experience implementing or managing change management processes.
    • Experience in multi-tasking and handling multiple complex projects at once.
  • Skills
    • Ability to lead and motivate people and encourage teamwork;
    • Has high level of analytical and planning skills in the area of IT Project Management;
    • Strong technical aptitude, attention to detail and accuracy;
    • Highly focused in order to stick to the objectives and goals of the company without giving in to undue distractions and challenges;
    • Highly organized and able to set priorities;
    • Skilled in examining and re-engineering operations and procedures, developing and implementing new procedures;
    • Good verbal and written communication skills;
