Intercompany Accountant  

This position is primarily responsible for the review of accounting and processing of intercompany transactions, and intercompany account reconciliations.

Responsibilities

• Review intercompany accounts below net operating income and ensure all net to zero in consolidation
• Review proposed journal entries to ensure they are valid before processing and providing reports to controllers
• Assist with recording of all cash entries that relate to intercompany settlements
• Review intercompany receivables and payables to ensure all trading partners are identified
• Perform monthly reconciliations. Involves research and resolution of all reconciling items
• Assist with special projects such as divestitures to ensure intercompany entries are recorded timely and accurately.

KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE:

• Education should include a college degree in Accounting or equivalent.
• Technical accounting knowledge to analyze and resolve issues.
• In depth knowledge of Oracle system is an advantage.
• Ability to work independently.
• Good written and communication skills to effectively interact with all levels of personnel.
• Good interpersonal skills to effectively deal with large customer base.
• Ability to be assertive to follow up on issues and responsible for adhering to deadlines.
• Strong working knowledge of personal computers, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access).
• Must be flexible in shift schedule; willing to go on a night shift during quarter close.
• Must be willing to work in Pasig.
