Job Description
- Formulates/documents accounting policies and guidelines aligned with JG or Retail-specific
- Ensure that appropriate consultation has taken place with the relevant individuals and groups (e.g. Accounting, Treasury, Shared Services)
- Ensure that training needs and resources required for implementation are clearly identified and executed
- Monitors to ensure that policies are implemented and complied appropriately
- Conducts regular review/updating of existing policies as a result of changes to practice, organizational structure or legislation
- Acts as lead in the implementation/adoption of new accounting standards or clarifying impact of new regulations (e.g. new PFRS, tax)
- Coordinates with Information Technology (IT) department for any system-related needs related to new standards and policies.
Minimum Qualifications
- A graduate of BS Accountancy
- CPA or CIA is a plus
- With audit experience from reputable audit firm
