Job Description
Duties and Responsibilities
- Test ingestion jobs of different data sources (sensor devices, rest and soap services, rdbms, flat files, etc)
- Documentation of Test Results and Technical Design
- Provide production support of ingestion jobs, resolve concurrency and connectivity issues.
- Coordinate with and report to onshore counterpart regarding tasks to be delivered, issues to be resolved and contribute to development process improvement of the team.
Minimum Qualifications
Non-negotiable/Required
- 3+ years of ETL testing and working with data
- Writing complex SQL scripts
- Creation and execution of Test plan and script
- Experience with other ETL tools such as Pentaho, and knowledge of testing ETLs
- Knowledge of data warehousing concepts (star schema, normalization, slowly changing dimensions), data security and data lineage
- Experience with different RDBMS (e.g. Oracle, MySQL, SQL Server, Postgress, etc.)
- Basic unix
- Good communication skills
