- Read given material and research industry-specific terminology
- Convert text and audio recordings from English to Filipino or Filipino to English
- Ensure translated content conveys original meaning and tone
- Cross-reference specialized dictionaries and translation tools to check quality of translation
- Proofread translated texts for grammar, spelling and punctuation accuracy
- Edit content with an eye toward maintaining its original format (e.g. font and structure)
Minimum Qualifications

Subtitlers Needed: Pooling for Pioneer Account
Be one of the subtitler pioneers for an international streaming account. If you have at least two years of experience in providing Tagalog subtitles to English programs, please submit your CV as soon as possible. Your CV should focus on your subtitling experience and indicate all the subtitling-related software you have used. Along with your CV, describe to us your processes and routines from start to completion of one subtitling project you took part in.
- At least one year of proven experience in the subtitling industry
- Excellent English language skills
- Experience in subtitling movies, series and related media using subtitling softwares
- Familiarity with subtitle reading speeds, time codes, line and positioning compliance, safe areas and all restrictions relating to subtitling standard practice
- Ability to deliver projects with strict deadlines while maintaining 100% accuracy
- Ability to implement and conduct QA checks on translated subtitle files
- Ability to prepare a comprehensive report (in English) on each QC process
- Expertise as a translator from English into Filipino
