Job Description
Copy can include:
- creating headlines, slogans, catchphrases, straplines and body copies, articles
- writing for the website, landing pages, social media, ads, blogs, and mobile applications
Duties and responsibilities:
- familiarise yourself with your clients' products and services, the target audience and their competitors' activities
- liaise with clients and interpret their project briefs
- develop creative ideas and concepts
- write clear, persuasive, original copy through the various iterations of the project
- write articles and blogs
- proofread copy to check spelling and grammar
- amend, revise or redevelop adverts or campaigns in response to feedback from the creative director, account team, clients, or any relevant members/parties
- oversee campaigns through the production stage to completion
- work on several campaigns at once, sometimes under pressure and often to tight deadlines
Minimum Qualifications
Skills required:
- The ability to write and think creatively
- Significant experience in writing strong, succinct copy that is grammatically correct
- A flexible approach and willingness to adapt ideas to the needs of internal and external clients
- The ability to work to strict deadlines without compromising on work quality
- Great organizational skills
- An eye for detail
- Strong research skills
