Job Description
The position mainly entails assisting senior engineers and consultants in various engineering works. As an Engineer, your responsiblity revolves around:
- Performing structural analysis and design of structures in accordance with local and international codes using computer-aided structural design software;
- Coordinating with the members of the department including the Team Leader, if applicable for better communication about the tasks at hand as well as other projects;
- Assisting in preparing reports, as necessary;
- Checking all drawings and plans done by the CAD operators;
- Conducting occasional project site visits and inspections; and
- Participating in coordination meetings as required by the Design Center Manager or Senior Engineer.
Minimum Qualifications
- Has at least one-year civil engineering-related work experience;
- A licensed civil engineer;
- Strong analytical, planning, and organizational skills;
- Good communication, and decision-making skills;
- Excellent problem-solving skills; and
- Fluent in both written and spoken English.
