Job Description
- Oversee daily operation of the Military Welfare Service Unit of AFP Medical Center, V.Luna, Quezon City by ensuring that Military Welfare Unit is maintained
- Does crisis intervention to the sick and wounded servicement in their psychosocial needs and assist them and their families
- Organize and implement activities like casework services, recreation therapy, benefits and claims assistance and skills training among the military and their watchers, dependents confined in military hospital
- Conduct ward visits, facilitates blood request and referral to other partner agency if needed service is not available from the military hospital
- Provide professional advice thru Guidance and Counseling to come up with the possible solution of their problems
Minimum Qualifications
- Registered Social Worker
- Minimum of 1-2 years of similar work experience
- At least 2 years’ work experience in project/program development and management
- Experience as a Philippine Red Cross staff member or volunteer is preferred
- Experience in community-based programs
- Skilled in technical writing and reporting
