Job Description
- Promote Disaster Management programs and activities within the community.
- Develop training and education materials to support community-based training programs.
- Conduct training, education, and information dissemination activities within the community regarding disaster preparedness, risk reduction, and recovery.
- Coordinate and support the implementation of programs and activities.
- Ensure programs and activities adhere to Philippine Red Cross guidelines and standards, Philippine Law, Local Government, and Municipality law and standards.
- Identify and recommend enhancements to existing programs and activities.
- Coordinate staff and volunteers to support program and activity implementation.
- Support Chapter and National Headquarters with preparation of reporting by supplying accurate information for monthly and annual reporting.
Minimum Qualifications
- Graduate of any 4-year course.
- Minimum of 1 year experience in Disaster Management or in a similar role.
- Experience as a Philippine Red Cross staff member or volunteer is preferred.
- Engagement with local or international non-government organizations is an advantage
