Job Description
To manage the implementation of the Capacity Development Project in Panay Island (Aklan, Antique and Capiz) delivered by the Philippine Red Cross (PRC) in partnership with the Canadian Red Cross (CRC)
- Prepare overall project implementation and facilitate preparation of the chapter-based implementation plan and budget
- Oversee the chapter project implementation of activities according to target timeline
- Monitor the progress of the chapter level implementation of all project activities through site visits, meeting with the chapter staff, volunteers and project partners
- Guide and supervise chapter project staff on the technical requirements of the project
- Conduct training and capacity building necessary for the project implementation
- Provide technical and coaching sessions and professional development activities with the chapter staff and volunteers related to project activities
Minimum Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years’ work experience in project/program development and management
- Experience as a Philippine Red Cross staff member or volunteer preferred
- Experience in community-based programs
- Skills in technical writing and reporting
