UI/UX Designer  

Lemi is a global travel company that aims to renew its users’ excitement of the world around them. Our mobile application features lists of places made with friends, which helps users compile and organize recommendations and allow to get tips from the community. Since launching in April 2018, there have been thousands of recommendations shared by our users, our local experts, and our team in all continents including Antarctica!

As a UI/UX Designer at Lemi, you will be working alongside our Creative Director, Chief Technology Officer, and our Product Development Team to create brand-consistent user experience and user interface designs to improve the user experience of the Lemi app.

• Develop intuitive, usable, and engaging interactions and visual designs for the Lemi app
• Collaborate with our Product Development Team throughout the design process
• Participate in the development process from definition through design, build, test, release, and maintenance
• Research on advancements in mobile application design patterns
• Break design challenges into viable actionable to-dos to solve them with clarity and precision
• Stay updated on UX and UI trends in the mobile design field

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or any related course
• At least 1 to 2 years of experience in designing mobile user interfaces (Portfolio required!)
• A good understanding of UX design and usability and how it relates to visual design
• Knowledge of UI design processes, trends, and methodology
• An understanding of technology limitations and ability to work with technology requirements
• Good command of spoken and written English
• Proficiency in software such as Adobe Creative Cloud, Sketch, Zeplin, Google Docs, Google Slides, and Keynote
• Work ethic and integrity aligned with international standards

Preferred

• Have experience in prototyping, development, video editing, illustration, and visual storytelling
• Have worked in a team with multiple developers, designers, and QA
• Have experience working with Framer and InVision
• Have any previous experience working on Android
• Create several lists on Lemi before your interview!
