Job Description
- Specification writing
- Assess the environmental impact and sustainability of projects
- Manage and review contracts from suppliers and contractors
- Resolve problems that arise during construction and adjust plans accordingly
- Conduct site inspections and hold weekly project coordination meetings
- Assess and develop suppliers’ and consultants’ design solutions
- Creates project program and controls project resources
- Schedule material and equipment purchases and deliveries
- Research and write feasibility and technical studies
- Compile job specifications and tender procedures on-site
- Supervise construction on-site
- Working long hours and well under pressure
Minimum Qualifications
- A degree in Civil Engineering
- Candidate must be a Licensed Civil Engineer
- Candidate must have at least seven years post qualification experience
- Excellent drafting and technical drawing skills using Autocad
- Have the skills to be a part of a team of professionals in diverse fields
