Job Description
The Sr. Web Developer is responsible for the development and implementation of a websites front-end and back-end. He/She is the technical counterpart of the Digital Graphics Designer.
Specifically, his/her tasks include:
- System development
- Database management
- Database programming
- Development of applications for interactive modules
The Sr. Web Developer is also responsible for coding, modifying, and creating innovative desings for One Mega Groups' websites.
Minimum Qualifications
- At least two years work experience in web and systems development, and publication—preferably with exposure in digital design work, magazine or newspaper publishing.
- Experience with content management systems and mobile application development is a plus.
We are looking for someone with these skills:
- MAC and Windows proficiency;
- Good understanding on how Open source operating systems work (Ubuntu) on a webhosting environment.
- Knowledgeable in Adobe Photoshop CS5, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign;
- Knowledgeable in front end development (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, SASS, Twitter Bootstrap, Mobile Responsiveness)
- Experience with Custom Theme Development for WordPress using a starter theme.
- Familiarity with ACF (Advanced Custom Fields) for WordPress and ability to modify plugins is a plus.
- Knowledgeable in cloud platforms such Amazon Web Services and Media Temple.
- Knowledgeable in Database Management Systems such as MySQL, PostgreSQL (Knowledge in NoSQL based technologies are a plus)
