Job Description

MoneyGeek is looking for an experienced project manager to help distribute, track and report on workflow for multiple content projects. You’ll help traffic assignments between cross-functional teams and ensure that project deadlines are met. This integral role will report to the content director (US Eastern Time Zone) and work closely with another project manager (PHT) and editing, writing and publishing leads. This role will help coordinate the movement of projects between teams and requires excellent organizational and communication skills to ensure a balance in different areas of the content process.

Responsibilities:

  • Attend occasional weekly meetings in U.S. timezone (typical daily tasks can be completed in Philippines timezone)
  • Assign work to project leads and individual contributors
  • Monitor the workflow of multiple content projects at once and report on the status and progress of each
  • Ensure quality standards are being followed by project leads and individual contributor
  • Communicate with project leads, writers, editors and publishers
  • Help set and measure KPIs for commercial content production
  • Coordinate with writing, editing and publishing leads to communicate and track workflow and maintain the schedule for template projects
  • Develop and share reports on content process and workflow

Minimum Qualifications

  • Project organization and reporting
  • Effective communication between team leads to coordinate projects through the content process
  • Strong written and spoken English
  • Understanding of content production process and management
  • Time management and project tracking to ensure each portion of the process is delivered and passed off on time
  • Asana, excel/google sheets or other project management systems/tools a plus
