Web Content Strategist | International | Remote  

MoneyGeek is looking to build our international team, and is seeking a full-time contractor who can compose outlines on various personal finance and consumer-related topics for U.S. readers.

The Content Strategist will be expected to conduct research and structure a story narrative of a given topic. This information will be conveyed in an outline format.

The outline will provide our writers with information on what content to write, key sections and features to include, and the size (e.g.: how many words in each section). The outline also provides direction on what design elements to use on the page.

This role will be involved with publishing the content in our CMS.

Expectations:

• Can consistently deliver multiple assignments within a deadline to hit content marketing goals
• Be able to outline a guide topic with a financial angle that serves user intent
• Provide excellent guideance and direction to writers on how to format the content
• Provide the plan for visual features on the content (e.g.: infographics, interactive map features, bulleted lists, and additional use of MoneyGeek's design elements)
• Be able to publish within a CMS

• Can write in 100% clear, fluent English
• Be able to research topics for content production
• Experience with competitor analysis
• Consolidate research into a story narrative
• General understanding of visual design and UX
• SEO experience is a plus
• Working within a CMS is a plus
• Has basic knowledge of financial topics in U.S. setting
• Responsive, communicatitive, and organized
• Teachable and eager to learn
• Familiarity with Google Workplace tools (docs, sheets, etc.)
