- In-charge of hiring and training a Construction Staff and making sure it works as a team. Oversee everyone from carpenters to electricians and masons and should be experts in every aspect of the project.
- Provides leadership and direction to construction crews, rendering hands-on assistance; overseeing any size construction project, from planning to implementing and leading a team of workers to do their jobs in order to complete the project.
- Planning, organizing and coordinating the daily activities of all construction crew members, equipment and utilize corrective action from project start to finish while keeping the project on time and on budget.
- Ensure that workers obey all safety regulations by communicating safety procedures to employees or safety training to new workers
- Inspects the work environment or equipment to verify that no hazardous conditions exist.
- Can track inventory and initiate requisitions of needed supplies of the Project.
- Performing quality inspections to ensure that project work is progressing satisfactorily.
Minimum Qualifications
- Two (2) years work experience as Construction Foreman
- In-depth knowledge of construction procedures and equipment
- Excellent understanding of electrical, plumbing, structural, mechanical systems
