Infrastructure Engineer | Eastwood  

• Performs installation, configuration, administration, maintenance, and support of service/management applications or infrastructure components incorporated in computing infrastructure.
• Monitors the ongoing operation and performs activities to assist with performance tuning, troubleshooting of hardware, OS and application issues.
• Performs regular and on-demand infrastructure backups and recoveries.
• Participates in disaster recovery and business resumption planning, testing, and implementation. Participates in System’s emergency response.
• Maintains appropriate documentation on procedures, configurations, and equipment inventory.
• Works directly with vendors and technical support personnel on equipment and software.

• Bachelor’s/College Degree in Computer Science/Engineering, Information Technology or equivalent.
• At least 3 years of working experience in Infrastructure Administration
• Good technical and troubleshooting ability.
• Solid experience in VMware ESX administration.
• Strong hands on Windows systems Administration skills
• Core infrastructure services (Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, etc.)
• Experience in firewall administration
• Demonstrated experience supporting BAU operations
• Demonstrate strong ability to produce as-built documentation
• Flexible to work on shifting schedules

Other Qualifications

• Proven experience is AWS administration and deployment
• Experience with the following AWS services: EC2/VPC/RDS/IAM/CloudTrial Cloudformation/Cloudwatch
• Demonstrate strong ability to deploy AWS solutions based on established designs/patterns
• Demonstrate a strong understanding of IT infrastructure design, interdependencies, and security
• Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal), a high level of professionalism and maturity and the ability to manage stressful situations
• Preferred Certifications - VCP, MCP/MCSE, AWS are highly regarded
