As a Treasury Officer, you will be responsible for managing an organization's financial assets, liquidity, and risk. You will oversee cash management, financial planning, investment strategies, and banking relationships to ensure efficient utilization of funds and compliance with regulatory requirements. Your role will involve analyzing financial data, forecasting cash flows, executing financial transactions, and developing strategies to optimize the organization's financial position.

What are your responsibilities?

• Cash Management: Monitor daily cash balances, forecast cash flows, and ensure adequate liquidity to meet operational needs.
• Financial Planning: Assist in developing short-term and long-term financial plans, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Investment Management: Execute investment strategies, assess investment opportunities, and manage investment portfolios to maximize returns while minimizing risk.
• Banking Relationships: Maintain relationships with banks and financial institutions, negotiate terms for banking services, and optimize banking arrangements to support business operations.
• Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate financial risks such as interest rate risk, foreign exchange risk, and credit risk through appropriate hedging and risk management techniques.
• Compliance: Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, accounting standards, and internal policies related to treasury operations.
• Reporting: Prepare financial reports, analyze key financial metrics, and provide insights to senior management to support decision-making processes.

Are you right for the role?

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in treasury management, cash management, or financial analysis. Experience in a corporate treasury function or financial institution is advantageous.
• Strong understanding of financial markets, investment principles, and financial instruments (e.g., derivatives, securities).
• Proficiency in financial modeling, data analysis, and risk assessment. Ability to interpret complex financial data and make strategic recommendations.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to articulate financial concepts and present findings to stakeholders effectively.
• Familiarity with treasury management systems (TMS), enterprise resource planning (ERP) software, and financial databases. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling software.
• Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy in financial analysis and reporting.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and adapt to changing business requirements.
• High ethical standards and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality and integrity in handling financial information.
• Collaborative attitude with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
