Job Description

As a Lead Generation Specialist, you would be responsible for prospecting, qualifying, and generating new sales leads to support the sales team of our media analytics business. Media Meter, as our media analytics business is called, reveals conversations about brands by tracking mentions across thousands of media channels including newspapers, magazines, radio, TV, blogs, and social media. We are all about interpreting data to help organizations understand what’s happening in their bubble so that they can build more effective communications strategies for their brand.

Is the role right for you?

As a lead generation specialist (LDS), you will work closely with our business development and marketing teams to maximize sales with our customers. We are looking for highly motivated self-starters who can identify and develop new business prospects from multiple sources including inbound marketing leads, prospect lists, discovery, and individual research. If you have an outgoing personality with a drive to reach decision makers, this position is for you! In this role, you will be

• Identifying ideal prospects for our business development team based on location, type of business, size of business, and industry.

• Finding new prospects using LinkedIn, Google Research, provided prospects lists, among other strategies.

• Developing new business via phone and email communication.

• Providing insights relevant to product development and pricing.

• Following up on leads so that they can convert to sales.

• Moving opportunities through the sales funnel by cultivating prospect relationships through initiating communications and providing follow-up communications.

• Working with the marketing lead and the business development lead to develop and grow the sales pipeline to consistently meet quarterly revenue goals.

• Managing data about new and prospective clients using the ZOHO CRM, logging all communications and providing accurate documentation and information.

What kind of support can I expect?

The lead generation specialist will work under the guidance of the sales operations manager and collaborate with marketing team. As an LDS, you will also be equipped with newsletters, website content, social media content, and other collateral coming from the marketing team.

How about the package?

We’re looking at two tiers here. At a junior level, you can expect a monthly salary of between P20,000 to 30,000. However, if you have a minimum of five years of demonstrable experience in lead generation, we can pay you from P30,000 to 40,000 a month.

Are you right for the role?

A lot of responsibility rides on our lead generation specialists’ shoulders. In this role, you are expected to have the following qualities:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills. We are looking at people who can converse and write well enough so that prospects are encouraged to continue a conversation that eventually leads to conversion.

• Highly adaptable. You’ll be dealing with quite a bit of ambiguity, so you need to be able to adjust behavior when change occurs, so priorities are still met.

• Resourceful. Your journey will be littered with obstacles. We need people who address problems with professionalism and in a way that aligns with the our team’s strategy.

• Results-oriented. This role is all about meeting conversion targets. We need people who look at their targets and come up with ways to meet them on a regular basis.
