Reporting to the BI Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Retrieve, understand and handle complex data-sets to create insightful reports
- Improve and create company internal reporting systems and KPI systems
- Build tools and processes to optimize internal work-flow
- Run sales, assortment, pricing, market analysis and drive key decisions
- Project management for various internal initiatives
- Optimize all areas of business through a data-driven approach: sourcing, pricing, marketing, content
Minimum Qualifications
- Outstanding academic grades, excellent written and verbal communication skills
- High Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g. Pivot Tables, short-cuts, Power Pivot, Power Query) and proficiency in MySQL language and databases.
- Highly energetic and self-motivated, with strong data analysis skills
- Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks, to prioritize those tasks and to meet deadlines
- Demonstrated ability to translate business problems into quantitative analyses and produce insights.
- Experience with BI tools like Qlikview is a significant plus.
- Experience in working on predictive modeling problems using statistical software like R, SAS, or SPSS is a plus
