Job Description
- Coordinate with 3rd party haulers for the availability of trucks and maintain delivery schedule to ensure deliveries are met.
- Collaborate with the sales department for the sales projection on a daily basis and for immediate planning and truck assignment.
- Coordinate with dispatch for the daily deliveries based on the DO's submitted by sales dept.
- Resolve problem concerning transportation and or unloading to customers.
- Plan implement improvements on the trucking operation and system.
- Oversee dispatching system and truck assignment per area or company. match truck availability with daily dispatch summary and ensure 100% delivery accomplishment daily.
- Monitor truck location and operation while at the customer's site or other areas for loading or unloading.
- Review record of daily trips and truck turn-around. Validate and review details of delay and downtime for improvements and immediate action.
- Organize and oversee safety checks and routine vehicle maintenance records for compliance to government regulatory and Company standard.
- Ensure proper coordination with dispatch/warehouse for the operation affecting the fast turn-around of the truck.
- Monitor delivery return and coordinate with sales and stock controller for strict for re-diverting delivery returns to other customer and or proper procedure in taking back the sticks in the system.
- Coordinators may also analyza delivery costs and recommended more cost effective methods opf transportation.
- Assign frivers to routes, handle customer complaints, and investigate delivery issues. includes, damaged products and late or lost deliveries and report driver issues suck as accident and safety concern.
Minimum Qualifications
- College Graduate.
- Computer Literate.
- 1 year related experience in logistics.
- Good moral character.
- Willing to work on extended hours/holidays.
- Efective communication skills.
