Digital Commerce Head  

Digital Commerce Head reports to the Sales and Operations Director. The role oversees the company's online sales and develops and carries out strategic online marketing plans for the organization that do business on the Web (website, social media accounts, and online advertising) It is responsible in generating sales through the internet. They oversee a team of web and software developers who contribute to the look and systems of the website. The position stays current with the online marketing environment and adapts strategies to best serve the interest of the organization and to keep pace with the competition in the field.

Website Design

• Determines the format and features of the website in order to maximize clarity and ease of navigation for customers.
• Liaises with the Web designers to develop and alter the website as needed and
• Oversees and manages all online activities
• Develops and affiliates marketing programs
• Creates and maintains an online business plan
• Search Engine Optimization (SEO), PPC, CMS, Social Media, Email Marketing

Research and Development

• Keeps abreast of new developments in the e-marketing world.
• Researches the company’s core demographics and how to best reach them, in order to maximize search engine traffic and the effect of the company’s targeted ad buys.

Project Development and Presentation

• Liaise directly with upper management and present their plans for any new advances or initiatives to improve the company’s online presence and e-sales.
• Provides analytical reports of online stores

· Planning-forecasting needs, prepares actual plans, and budgets and arranges time schedule; develop policies and simplified procedures

· Organizing- maintains coordination of activities across level through sound structure and regular interaction between and among group of employees

· Leading- develops high performing employees with full awareness and support to vision and core values of the Organization through rational decision making, training, and coaching, opening communication channels like regular meeting and discussion, and employee recognition.

· Managing - sets performance goals and standards to measure actual performance and determine performance plans

• Graduate of Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Digital Marketing, Marketing, Business or Internet Marketing Behavioral Science or Business Administration or any major related

  · Minimum of 3 years solid experience in E commerce, Advertising Technology and Marketing, Online presence in a managerial capacity

  · In depth understanding of web design and web analytic software, SEO

  · Uses Adobe Photoshop, Design UX. Dreamweaver, Google Analytics

  · With high level of organized, strong technical skills, strategic thinking, analytic skills, decision making and business acumen

  · With strong leadership skills and people management skills

  Effective reporting and presentation skills
