Job Description

This role will be primarily responsible in documenting the HR business processes and policies, and in providing research assistance to management. He/she will be in charge of reviewing, revising, writing and or documenting HR processes, workflows, policies, and pertinent training materials. This person will also work with HR management to analyze the department's processes, workflows, and policies; identify areas for improvement and when needed, help determine the impact of proposed modifications.

  • Interviews internal HR Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to understand work functions and processes and gather information
  • Develops materials to document operational end-to-end process flows
  • Summarizes recommendations from SMEs for process improvements and other findings
  • Writes detailed policy and procedure documents based on discussions with process owners and identification / creation of process flows with an emphasis on accuracy and compliance with business needs
  • Reviews existing policies, procedures and processes and revises if necessary
  • Develops and organizes pertinent training materials, visual aids, and other education materials
  • Establishes and maintains a monitoring system for control purposes, and to ensure compliance with documentation procedures
  • Provides research assistance to management and assist with other projects on an as-needed basis
  • Performs other duties that may be assigned from time to time by the LOD Manager and or HR Director
