What we're looking for
The Expert is looking for an organized, data-driven individual with experience in supporting E-commerce operations in a fast-paced environment. This team member will be focused on providing exceptional administrative support as part of The Expert’s E-commerce team. This is a terrific opportunity for an individual who wants to have an immediate impact on a rapidly growing startup.
Responsibilities
- Partner with both our E-commerce and logistics teams to provide administrative support during the procurement process
- Upload and manage data and image assets to create product listings in our order management system
- Manage the order process, including manually placing orders with vendors, proactively following up on order timelines, and monitoring the status and details of active orders
- Ensure accurate order and financial information for transactions, preparing accurate reporting for accounting
- Navigate various software applications and tools in order to manage inquiries, personal workflows, and day-to-day responsibilities
- Coordinate with Logistics team to ensure seamless fulfillment experience and overall handoff process post-order
- Assist with all post-order inquiries and utilize problem-solving skills to resolve client and vendor issues
- Additional e-commerce support as needed
Minimum Qualifications
Qualifications
- Strong detail-oriented technical skills with proficiency in Excel and Google docs/sheets
- Experience in order management software (such as flxpoint) is a plus
- Strong work ethic with a high degree of record-keeping accuracy and an eye for detail and follow-through
- Outstanding organizational, planning, and problem-solving skills with the ability to prioritize multiple issues and produce solutions in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; proven ability to establish relationships with peers, clients, and internal and external stakeholders
- Demonstrates reliability and ability to work collaboratively in a remote environment
- Familiarity in the interior design industry
- Must be willing to work US hours and have prior experience working in Pacific Time business hours (12AM-9AM PHT)
