Job Description
- Turn raw information into insights, recommendations, dashboards, and reports to provide ad-hoc reporting and analytics services and proactively support business decisions and processes
- Able to optimize and performance tune Hive queries
Minimum Qualifications
- Possess at least Bachelor’s/College Degree in Information technology or equivalent;
- With at least 3 years of experience as Data analyst;
- Strong in Spark Scala pipelines (both ETL & Streaming);
- Proficient in Spark architecture;
- At least 1 year experience in migration of Map Reduce process to Spark platform;
- 3 yrs experience in Design and implementation using Hadoop, Hive;
- Experience in Java coding language is a must;
- Worked on designing ETL & Streaming pipelines in Spark Scala;
- Good communication skills and an awareness of how to communicate data and results effectively;
- Extensive SQL knowledge, adept at queries and joining data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain databases/data systems
- Strong analytical and planning skills;
- Excellent problem-solving skills;
