Job Description
- Attaches electrodes to patient's arms, legs, and chest area, according to specified pattern, and connects electrode leads to electrocardiograph to produce recordings of electromotive variations in action of the heart muscle while patient walks on treadmill or at rest.
- Records data, such as angle and speed of treadmill, patient's indications of pain, and measurements of blood pressure.
- Stands alongside patient during test to constantly observe patient’s condition and be ready to respond to cardiac emergencies.
- Assess produced ECG tracing for interpretation; does long lead II or repeat some leads (e.g. V1, V2…) when necessary.
- Checks patient’s details and test request; obtains patients medical history including the medication; explains the procedure to patient.
- Checks supplies stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed supplies; placing orders for supplies; verifying receipt of supplies.
Minimum Qualifications

- Candidate must be a graduate BS Nursing
- With a PRC license
- With at least 6 months experience is a plus
