Job Description
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop and administer Six Sigma program
- Design and conduct Six Sigma Training courses
- Drive maximum employee engagement in Six Sigma programs and initiatives.
- Evaluate participation/project completion rate for the purpose of determining the success of the Six Sigma program and make changes as needed.
- Create, communicate and administer the Training Plan
- Coach employees on Six Sigma tools and techniques
- Complete Six Sigma projects assigned by Champions
- Facilitate identification and completion of Six Sigma projects
- Create and implement promotional activities to engage employees in the Six Sigma program
- Provide a budget for the Six Sigma Program administration
- Regularly communicate with all stakeholders the status of Six Sigma program
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
REQUIRED:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
- Six Sigma Black Belt Certified
- Minimum 3 years of recent experience working in an area of their specialty or related field.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint, Minitab and JMP
PREFERRED:
- Previous experience applying and teaching the Six Sigma Methodology, tools and techniques
- Lean trained
SKILLS:
- Demonstrated understanding of general business and financial concepts and principles, relating benefit strategies to broader business
- Excellent written and oral communication, interpersonal and relational skills, with the ability to quickly develop relationships of trust and confidence with a variety of people and personalities, at all levels within an organization
- Self-motivated with the ability to effectively multi-task and work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team environment
- Strong active listening skills with the ability to ask thoughtful and probing questions to determine client needs
- Ability to make clear, logical decisions based on facts, taking into consideration the big picture, long and short term effects, and exercising sound judgment when handling complaints, confidential and sensitive issues
- Demonstrated ability to deliver consistent positive results through influencing, coordinating and managing the efforts of others
