Job Description

  • Analyze impact on, and risk to, essential business functions or information systems to identify acceptable recovery time periods and resource requirements
  • Develop emergency management plans for recovery decision making and communications, continuity of critical departmental processes, or temporary shut-down of non-critical departments to ensure continuity of operation and governance
  • First line of Crisis Management, implementing lessons learnt and Incident Response Management
  • Info security framework and procedure implementation as per company policy
  • Manage the process of gathering, analyzing and assessing the current and future threat landscape, as well as providing the IS leadership with a realistic overview of risks and threats in the enterprise environment.
  • Work with the IS leadership to develop a security program and security projects that address identified risks and business security requirements.
  • Monitor and report on compliance with security policies, as well as the enforcement of policies within the IS department.
  • Propose changes to existing policies and procedures to ensure operating efficiency and regulatory compliance.
  • Assist resource owners and IS staff in understanding and responding to security audit failures reported by auditors.
  • Design, coordinate and oversee security testing procedures to verify the security of systems, networks and applications, and manage the remediation of identified risks.
  • Provide support and guidance for info sec and regulatory compliance efforts, including audit support.
  • Recommend and coordinate the implementation of technical controls to support and enforce defined security policies.
  • Work with the enterprise architecture team to ensure that there is a convergence of business, technical and security requirements; liaise with IS leadership to align existing technical installed base and skills with
  • Develop a strong working relationship with the Infrastructure team to develop and implement controls and configurations aligned with security policies and legal, regulatory and audit requirements
  • Research, evaluate, design, test, recommend or plan the implementation of new or updated information security hardware or software, and analyze its impact on the existing environment;
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to work effectively with business managers, IT and operations team.
  • A strong understanding of the business impact of security tools, technologies and policies.
  • CISSP certification preferable or equivalent certifications
  • Strong leadership abilities, with the capability to develop and guide information security team members and IS operations personnel, and work with minimal supervision.
  • Experience implementing and maintaining policies, procedures, standards and guidelines.
  • Strong ISO 27001 and PCI Audits management skills and experience in creating and managing plans,
  • Experience in application technology security testing.
  • Knowledge of and experience in developing and documenting security architecture and plans, including strategic, tactical and project plans.
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with the IS organization, project and application development teams, management and business personnel; in-depth knowledge and understanding of information risk concepts and principles as a means of relating business needs to security controls; an excellent understanding of information security concepts, protocols, industry best practices and strategies.
  • Proficiency in performing risk, business impact, control and vulnerability assessments, and in defining treatment strategies.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Preferred with IT security auditing experience (with PCI-DSS and ISo27001 knowledge);
  • Experience in system technology security testing (vulnerability scanning and penetration testing);
  • Experience with common information security management frameworks, such as International Standards Organization (ISO) 2700x, the IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL) and Control Objectives for Information and Related Technology (COBIT) frameworks;
  • Strong analytical skills to analyze security requirements and relate them to appropriate security controls;
  • An understanding of operating system internals and network protocols;
  • Graduate from a recognized Institute or University in any discipline. 5 years of prior experience of working in business continuity and info security, or related fields;
  • Minimum 6-8 years of work experience in BPO/Call Centre;
  • Have fair technical background / interest;
