Who we are:

HOPE was founded in 2012 with one Mission: to provide Filipinos with an easy way to vote with their peso about what was important to them. As an Impact Company and the country’s 1st B Corp, we put Education at the forefront of our movement, building much-needed public school classrooms through the sale of Hope in Bottle water. In 2016, we branched out into Agriculture interventions that would help secure the livelihood of thousands of smallholder farmers through the Hope in a Coconut campaign in partnership with the world’s leading coconut water brands.

Most recently, in 2019, we created the Plastic Credit Exchange (www.plasticcreditexchange.com/), which works with game-changing companies to sustainably neutralize their plastic footprints to promote Environmentally responsible consumption and to make sure that we are working towards a safer, cleaner planet. About the role:

As our Buyer/Planner, you will be responsible for managing aspects of our supply chain management, procurement, and inventory management functions. This may include:

• Determining the need for finished goods, materials, and capacity to address expected demand, execute the resulting plans, and update planning and financial information to reflect the results.
• Scheduling a timetable of events and deciding when and where certain events will occur (e.g., production, the arrival of goods at certain points, receiving of goods).
• Controlling and checking errors/variances, taking any corrective action so that deviations from standards are minimized, and stated goals of the organization are achieved in the desired manner.
• Accurately identifying risks that affect supply, transformation, delivery, and customer demand
• Implementing departmental inventory management strategies and objectives.
• Maintain high inventory accuracy through constant communication and various techniques, including inventory data audits and annual physical inventory
• Manage the purchasing cycle, including generating requisitions (RFx), PO creation, PO follow-up, goods receiving, and ensuring payment.
• Initiating supply chain process improvements that are enabled and supported by technology such as NetSuite (or other ERP systems), Google Suite, and Microsoft Office
• Maintaining NetSuite backup; Managing passwords; Liaising with NetSuite and similar partners on behalf of the organization; And troubleshooting any critical issues.
• Forming and maintaining partnerships with suppliers or key partners like CPFI-SCLD, as well as other supply chain and logistics service providers

Key Competencies:

We are looking for motivated, high-energy, and detail-oriented candidates who have experience and/ or interest in working in a supply chain or procurement, or logistics function.

• Candidates must be a graduate of Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Management Engineering, or any related courses.
• Open to fresh graduates
• Candidates with the ability to work effectively with people at all levels in an organization
• Candidates should have exceptional analytical and quantitative problem-solving skills as well as a passion for the HOPE mission.
• Must be open to doing field work (warehouse visits, plant visits, supplier meetings, and supplier audits)
• You should also be excited about the prospect of operating independently in a fast-paced and entrepreneurial environment.
