Job Description
- Identify and assess future and current training needs through job analysis, career paths, annual performance appraisals and consultation with line managers
- Draw an overall or individualized training and development plan that addresses the needs of respective stakeholders
- Deploy a wide variety of training methods
- Conduct effective induction and orientation sessions
- Monitor and evaluate the training program’s effectiveness and success
- Manage training budget
- Provide opportunities for ongoing development
- Resolve any specific problems and tailor training programs as necessary
- Maintain a keen understanding of training trends, developments, and best practices
Minimum Qualifications
- 2-4 years of experience as a Training Specialist or similar role
- 2-4 years of experience with designing training programs and workshops
- Ability to lead a full training cycle
- Must be a confident communicator and presenter
- Must have strong writing, editing, proofreading, layout and design, and professional printing/publishing skills, including the ability to verbally present concepts
- Must possess excellent organizational and planning skills
- Must possess superior project management and time management skills
- Has a wide degree of creativity and latitude
- Self motivated with a positive and professional approach to management
- Experience in providing training and developing learning modules for an agent network and/or store retailers is an advantage
