Job Description
- Handle translation From English to Japanese for top Luxury JP brands.
- Handle proofreading tasks and web-checks in behalf of customers.
- Report to the Japanese Project Manager based in Tokyo on the progress of tasks and projects.
- Work in close contact with team members Japan and France offices.
- Participate in the creation of terminology base, glossary and translation memories for specific customers and projects.
Minimum Qualifications
- Professional/business proficiency level on Japanese language (Kanji, Hiragana, Katakana).
- Must be a JLPT Exam Passer (N1-N3) for non-native Japanese.
- Good English written and oral skills. English: business level
- Experienced in editing and writing
- Translation/proofreading experience in fashion and luxury filed is preferred
- Experienced with CAT tools and in fashion business, and willing to learn and use new CAT tool
- Can demonstrate a good level of analytical and problem-solving skills.
- With an eye for details and committed to accuracy.
- Has technical curiosity.
