Job Description
Facilities Management
- Plans and coordinates all installations (telecommunications, heat, electricity etc.) and refurbishments.
- Recommends maintenance, mechanical, electrical, and facility design modifications.
- Manages the upkeep of equipment and supplies to meet health and safety standards.
- Conducts and documents regular facilities inspections.
- Reviews utility consumption and strive to minimize costs.
- Manages and reviews service contracts.
- Checks completed work by vendors and contractors.
- Communicates workplace safety precautions to employees.
- Forecasts allocate and supervise the financial and physical resources of the facility management.
Property Management
- Maintains property by negotiating and enforcing leases, and maintaining and securing premises.
- Secures property by contracting with security patrol service, installing and maintaining security devices, establishing and enforcing precautionary policies and procedures, and responding to emergencies.
- Maintains property by inspecting the unit, completing repairs, and planning renovations.
- Maintains building systems by contracting for maintenance services and supervising repairs.
Asset Management
- Responsible for the daily transaction of asset/inventory material and record-keeping of assets and materials
- Ensures security and accountability of inventory/assets through transactional documentation and periodic system/tool review (both projects and Office)
- Helps conduct physical inventories and cycle counts
- Analyses inventory/assets for discrepancies and, when able, make corrections
- Audits incoming receipts and outgoing shipments to assure quality and accuracy of asset/inventory management records
- Compiles and documents transactions for data entry/record keeping
- Prepare reports and give presentations on asset usage, financial performance, operations, and maintenance.
- Ensure databases recording property assets are up to date and accurate.
- Provides technical support and guidance to Service Desk staff.
- Updating any software and hardware where necessary.
- Documenting all reported malfunctions and actions taken in response.
- May be required to perform other related duties as required and/or assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree of any related course
- Knowledgeable with inventory softwares (EZOffice Inventory and/or SAP)
- Strong background in IT Infrastructure and Facilities Management
- Experience in computer networks and systems maintenance.
- Experience in handling construction tools/equipment/materials is highly preferred
