Job Description
- Participates in preparing and coordinating with external consultants in Technical Planning Inputs to Project Development such as conceptual and schematic designs, architectural detailed designs for in-house projects.
- Reviews architectural plans and translates the owner’s idea to architectural design.
- Directly supervises all Architectural and Interior Design Staff.
- Coordinates with marketing and other project team members for additional requirements and inputs.
- Performs related duties and responsibilities as may be assigned from time to time.
- Production of House and Land Development Plans in cases of in-house production of such schemes. Ensures the correctness of all the details of our House and Land development plans.
- Coordinates with Contractor/Designer, In cases of consultancy, works for designs, and act as one of the Company’s representatives in such negotiations. Verify, validate and recommend practical changes that may be found from all Bill of Quantities, Plans and Specifications from the Consultant designer as to its accuracy and applicability to field conditions before actual project implementation.
- Conducts inspection along with the Technical Planning and Design Head and Geodetic Engineer for a detailed study of the actual site condition (Slope, location of outfall, squatters/tenants, right of way, adjacent property) prior to production of plans.
- Check, verify and recommend Project Specifications for our house models per project depending on the target market segment we intend to foray.
- Assist the Construction Head in the production of a Technical Training manual that will be used in the orientation new and old Technical Staff.
- Conduct regular site inspection, coordinate with Project Engineers, provide advice and additional details to resolve construction queries on details and procedures.
- Coordinate with the Project Manager/Project Engineers upon project completion of production of as-built plans.
- Attends and assists all other Departments in all its activities that need architectural and drafting needs.
- Perform other duties that may be assigned from time to time.
Minimum Qualifications
- Strong analytical and planning skills;
- Good communication and presentation skills;
- Excellent problem-solving skills;
- Knowledgeable in interpreting building plans and architectural details and finishing materials.
- With good oral and written communication skills, assertive, resourceful and a team player.
- Computer literate.
