Job Description
Essential Duties:
- Purchase cut fresh flowers and plants according to Production needs through existing suppliers.
- Purchase additional products off the open market if needed.
- Strive to locate best quality products at the most favorable purchase price, calculates costs, margins, profits and formulas.
- Purchase Order input
- Maintain positive relationships with growers, wholesalers and carriers
- Research and establish relationships with new suppliers
- Solve any problems arising from product quality or availability with a positive attitude, tact and diplomacy, to achieve the best possible outcome.
- Inform sales about market availability on a regular basis
Minimum Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree Graduate in any field
- Must have an experience in Flower Industry
- Must have a car or van for transportation
Required Skills:
- Ability to do multitasking and willing to learn new things
- Strong communication skills in Tagalog and English
- Excellent decision making and problem solving skills
- Can work under stressful conditions
- Must be knowledgeable in Flowers
- Must know how to establish good relationships
