Job Description
The Manager is responsible for monitoring and ensuring the continuous work flow of the department, assisting in maintaining a balance between manpower, resources and workload.
Also responsible in providing feedback to management with regard to the status of the department regarding revenue, capacity and productivity of staff.
- Monitors work volume, turnaround time, quality and other Service Level Agreement terms and conditions with the client
- Forecasts revenue, production target and ensures the attainability of these targets.
- Handles staffing requirements, selects internal and external applicants for positions needed within the department. Recommendations movements and promotions of staff.
- Prepares manpower plan on a daily, weekly and monthly basis
- Reviews processes and recommends process improvements
- Coordinates with the necessary Support Department for resource requirements (computer, access, materials, manpower)
- Promote staff development through training, coaching, on-the-job training.
- Participates in acquisition of new accounts, handles incubation and deployment of newly acquired accounts in Production.
- Monitors metrics, objectives and prepares production report for Management’s use.
- Implements company policies and procedures and department protocols
- Handles client communication and maintain a harmonious working relationship with clients.
Minimum Qualifications
- Minimum of five (5) year Team Lead / Assistant Manager experience gained from a call center or Business Process Outsourcing /Knowledge Process Outsourcing Company.
- Experience in Medical Documentation (HIPAA Law, Utilization Review, Impairment Ratings, ICD Codes, CPT Codes, Appeals on the Provider Side will be a distinct advantage.
- Bachelor’s degree in Health Allied Course (Nursing, Physical Therapy, Medical Technology, Human Biology, Pharmacy, Nutrition etc.)
- Ability to lead and partner successfully with teams, management and client
- High level of integrity, judgment and follow through
- People-oriented, strong coaching and leadership skills
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Technology savvy and efficient in MS Office.
