Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Accept request from 7:00am – 9:30pm; 7 days a week (Monday – Sunday) on a shifting schedule.
- Provide technical support to customers, answer complex questions on function and usage of IT services via the telephone, email, Internet and/or SMS, Password Reset, Software Applications, Hardware, Citrix, Printer, scanner and shared drive access request, shared drive increase requests, and other external applications.
- Can bridge communication even with external users.
- Provide initial application based technical support to users mostly via email. Answer technical inquiries and Frequently Answered Questions regarding the supported applications, processes and/or procedures about the support.
- Create, update and monitor tickets and email accordingly.
- Make shift and aging reports (Daily/Weekly/Monthly).
- Escalate Level 2 issues to sservice providers and appropriate technical support team and/or escalating the issue to domain (Desk Side Support, Systems Admin, Voice Admin, and Network Admin) and provide timely updates to affected users.
- Perform Password Reset/Unlock account
- Create ticket for all IT and Non Procurement requests for users.
- Perform Admin support based on the access provided via Active Directory (Account creation/deactivation/extension/verification, Password Unlock/reset, distribution list modification, security group modification etc).
- Provide notifications for planned outage or application maintenance.
- Generate and provide useful reports for clients.
- Have thorough knowledge of company's providers.
- Serve as primary support liaison between the IT and end-user.
- Perform desktop support using remote control tool.
- Travel to user workstation as needed.
- Provide Active Directory and Email management.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent
- Capable of Helpdesk Analysis
- Experienced in an IT environment in a financial industry (preferred but not required)
- Confident in dealing with peers
- Can operate without management oversight
- Can establish a strong relationship with customer and can manage their complaints to provide customer satisfaction
- Needs to be a team player and take responsibility for any assigned task
