Job Description
- Locating suppliers; Purchasing supplies of the best quality with the lowest price possible
- Preparing and editing purchase orders
- Placing orders with suppliers and vendors, ensuring that documentation is in order, with terms and conditions being clear
- Maintaining a filing system and updating appropriate records
- Interacting with suppliers in case of delay in delivery of supplies or receipt of damaged/subpar goods
Minimum Qualifications
- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration/Management, Accounting, Commerce, Logistics or other related fields
- With previous experience in Purchasing/Logistics in any industry
- Experience in purchasing in a construction-related company is an advantage
- Good computer skills with ability to use Microsoft Office (Word and Excel)
- Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills
- Willing to engage in field work
- Willing to work from Monday to Saturday, 8am to 5pm
