Minimum Qualifications:
Graduated from college
  • BA or other undergraduate degree
  • Minimum of two years’ experience as an accounting or billing clerk within a medium-sized corporation
  • Interaction with vendors in US via telephone and email requiring excellent English language skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word is mandatory
  • Experience with Electronic billing is preferred and working with billing statements is mandatory
  • Strong oral and written skills are mandatory
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills are mandatory.
Job Description

Position reports directly to the Director and Associate Director of Library & Research

Deals with highly sensitive billing issues and has an extremely well developed sense of integrity and ethics. Develops close working relationships with vendors. Prepares uploads of data for financial systems, meeting structured guidelines and timetables in place as required by Departmental procedures in a coherent and cohesive manner. Maintains close relationships with Accounts Payable in Manila and New York. Position is responsible for maintenance of daily spreadsheets for specific vendor’s online billing.

Duties:

  • Prepares and submits daily library invoices
  • Works closely with Librarians on invoice billing and other billing issues
  • Maintains relationships with vendors for timely payment of billing and other billing inquiries
  • Records accurate invoice details into the online Library System
  • Creates and maintains spreadsheets for purposes of reconciling client use with expenditures
  • Other responsibilities as deemed necessar
