SQL Database Specialist  

The SQL Database Specialist is responsible in providing administrative support to the client ensuring and maintaining high quality of work under rigorous pressure and meet set deadlines.

POSITION DESCRIPTION:

• Accurately prepares special price loading using Excel to support regular promotions.
• Learns and utilizes SQL script for data analysis and report running.
• Does competitor checking products and prices and making recommendations.
• Liaises with suppliers to resolve operational, content or quality issues.
• Ensures all documentation required are prepared and delivered within established deadlines.
• Demonstrates excellent customer and team member service reflecting on the client’s values.
• Ensures that requirements are implemented and maintained.
• Communicates with stakeholders and staff members with empathy, compassion, and professionalism.
• Any other task/duty as directed by client/management.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent.
• At least 2 to 3 years of relative work experience in the BPO industry and other relevant fields.
• Strong and advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Visual Basic.
• Working knowledge and experience with SQL Server and T-SQL language is required.
• Reporting and Analysis skills including understanding of database management and business intelligence.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications particularly Microsoft Word, Microsoft Outlook, and Microsoft Excel.
• Knowledge of stored procedure, query optimization, and indexes.
• Strong attention to detail, can work well under pressure.
• Has excellent time management and prioritization skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to be flexible to changing demands and challenges and exercise initiative.
• Exercise empathy and diplomatic exchange in all working relationships.
