Data Scientist  

If you have an excellent eye for details, can identify trends and patterns of information and also have excellent computer skills then you could find your niche as a Data Analyst. In this role you’ll be using your technical expertise to extrapolate data by using advanced computerized models. The job is very technical and heavily influenced by mathematics and advanced algorithms.

Experience:

• Degree in Quantitative field such as Business Analytics, Statistics, Math, Economics, IT, or Operations Research.
  • Master's degree is an advantage.
• 2-5 years of analytics experience.
• Insurance industry experience is an advantage.
• Knowledgeable of:
  • Business Analytics Applications
  • Statistical techniques
  • Relational Database and SQL
  • Data Visualization Tools and Techniques

Skills:

• Inquisitive and has a strong passion for empirical research and for answering questions with data.
• Can translate complex quantitative analysis to business application.
• Technical skills on statistical programming language/s (ex. SAS, R, Python, etc.).
• Skills on data visualization (MS Excel, Tableau, PowerBI).
• Strong analytical skills (e.g. spot trends and opportunities in data, analyze high-volume and multi-dimensional data from varying sources) using quantitative approaches (e.g. statistics, machine learning methods, etc.).
• Proficiency in MS Tools (Excel, Access, etc.).
